Already a local celebrity sushi chef, Erika Maiko Gibson brings attitude and martial artistry to the production, soundly abusing bruisers three times her size but always with her trademark beaming smile. So cheerful that her worst sneer cheers up exhausted film crews at 3:00 AM when the big fight scene still isn’t in the can. She also delights cast and crew with her amazing sushi creations and enthusiastic hospitality. Erika’s favorite sushi is Mr. Salmon.

A tornado on two legs, Rachel provides yet more evidence that a badass can come in any size. With her martial arts mad skillz and sharp wit, Rachel wields chops of all varieties, sending bad guys flying head first into walls before they can say “Edamame!” As Rachel’s film debut, KFSC is sure to launch her Hollywood acting career – or at least her chiropractic practice after she beats up all our stunt guys. Favorite sushi: Spicy Shrimp roll. |

Elegant, attractive and cultured, Yuko provides yet more evidence that KFSC has got it going on with top talent and all the beautiful people you could ask for. If you would dare to emulate Yuko, try a delicious Dragon Lady roll.

Mild-mannered chiropractor by day, Ken Kao scrambles the vertebrae of less-talented fighters with his high-flying kicks and wicked fast fists. Despite these amazing on-screen skills, Ken also wows fans and friends with his overpowering modesty and terrifyingly good nature. Favorite sushi: Happy Piranha Roe.

Karate green belt, skydiver and wingsuit flyer, Jason commands serious talent both on the ground and in the air. Jason sees more action at 3000’ before 9AM on a Tuesday than most of us get all lifetime. Seriously, when was the last time you threw yourself out of a hot air balloon? And lived?? If only we can think of some way he can pitch a Flying Eagle on the heroines at 10,000’ in his wingsuit! Without turning KFSC into a James Bond flick, that is. Favorite sushi: Flying Fish Roe, of course. |

Genuine wild woman and medieval stunt fighter for love and for money when someone’s willing to pay her to do what she’s already got planned for the weekend. Tracey brings a unique sort of Traceyness to all that she does and does well. Her death glare and Matrix coat send lesser heroes into tremulous fits and give the Chefs plenty of trouble. Sushi: Wasabi. Lots of wasabi.

Nick's career as a thespian began as the back end of a horse (as well as the front end) in Peter Shaffer's Equus and has only gone down from there. All the way down to playing a mook in KFSC where he gets soundly round-housed by his own wife at every fight rehearsal. Until he met our esteemed director, Nick's participation in any film cursed it to never seeing the light of day. Todd's 2007 "HDTS Promo Video" broke that streak, and "Birthday Girl" buried it for good (we hope). On screen Nick may look big and mean, but in real life he's big and not very mean at all. Favorite sushi: whatever Erika just whipped up. |
